Abstract
The article discusses a lab project that integrates principles of exercise physiology and physics by having students design and construct a bicycle-powered centrifuge. This project aims to engage kinesiology students who may have low interest in physics by providing a hands-on, interdisciplinary experience. Students are given the freedom to design the device using readily available materials, and the lab allows for measurements and calculations related to efficiency, angular speed, power analysis, and metabolic equivalents.
