Abstract
The article reviews *Mistletoes of Western Australia*, a book detailing all 42 mistletoe species in Western Australia, including endemic members of the Loranthaceae and Viscaceae families. It provides species accounts with photographs, maps, and essays on mistletoe biology, ecology, and fire survival strategies, combining established and new research. The review notes omissions such as limited coverage of culturally significant species like *Nuytsia floribunda* and the absence of First Nations perspectives or Traditional Ecological Knowledge. Despite some gaps in evolutionary context and Indigenous cultural information, the book is recommended for those interested in Australian flora and parasitic plants, highlighting both current knowledge and areas needing further study.
