Abstract
This article assesses the utilization of e-health services in Poland following the COVID-19 pandemic, based on a large-scale 2024 cross-sectional study involving 120,000 adult Internet users from the National Test of Poles’ Health (NTPH). It reports that about half of respondents who required medical consultation used remote physician visits and the Internet Patient Account (IPA) portal, while 5–9% accessed paid online medical advice or e-prescriptions. Sociodemographic factors such as younger age, higher education, urban residence, and presence of chronic conditions were associated with more frequent use of e-health services, whereas older adults, rural residents, and unemployed individuals used them less. The findings highlight that despite widespread adoption, traditional digital divides persist in accessing e-health in Poland.
