Abstract
The article reveals that medical cannabis use by terminally ill cancer patients in an inpatient setting improves symptom management and satisfaction with their quality of stay, according to survey findings reported during the 48th Annual Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Congress held in Arpil 2023. It informs the authorized use of medical cannabis in a healthcare facility under California's Compassionate Use Act. Improved symptoms in patients include anxiety, insomnia, pain, nausea and anorexia.
