Revisiting the Relationship between Birth Order and Romantic Jealousy: No Support for an Effect in Four Samples.

Abstract
The article focuses on the relationship between birth order and romantic jealousy, challenging the notion that birth order significantly influences this aspect of social relationships. A study involving over 950 participants found no statistical support for the claim that firstborns experience less romantic jealousy than laterborns, with both frequentist and Bayesian analyses yielding similar results. The findings suggest that research on romantic relationships may benefit from exploring other individual difference variables rather than relying on birth order as a predictor. The preprint has not undergone peer review. [Extracted from the article]
