Abstract

This document is a reply to a letter to the editor regarding a study on cutis marmorata telangiectatica congenita (CMTC). The authors express their gratitude for the comments and observations made by the letter's authors. They explain that their study used specific criteria for diagnosing CMTC and excluded articles that did not meet these criteria or lacked sufficient information. They also agree with the letter's authors on the importance of ophthalmological evaluation in patients with CMTC and facial involvement. The authors note the potential for retinal manifestations in CMTC and suggest that publishing cases with retinal abnormalities would be valuable for highlighting screening practices. The authors declare no conflicts of interest and state that the data supporting their findings are available upon request. [Extracted from the article]
