This article discusses the lessons that can be learned from Costco on sustainable growth. It highlights two temptations that leaders often face when trying to grow their businesses: losing focus on the customer and growing too quickly without the necessary organizational capabilities. Costco's success is attributed to its focus on the customer and keeping its core strong, as well as maintaining a sustainable growth rate organizationally.
