Abstract

A recent study conducted at Cairo University examined the relationship between cannabis and synthetic cannabinoid (SC) use and male sexual functions. The study found that both cannabis and SC dependence were associated with lower erectile function, sexual desire, intercourse satisfaction, and overall satisfaction compared to controls. Additionally, the SC group showed a higher negative impact on male sexual functions and psychopathology than the cannabis group. The study highlights the need for further research on the effects of synthetic cannabinoids on sexual health. [Extracted from the article]
