Abstract
The article focuses on assessing and enhancing the readiness of future educational psychologists in Kazakhstan for project-based professional activities within innovative educational environments. It defines "readiness for professional activity design" as an integrative construct involving motivational-personal, communicative, emotional-volitional, and intellectual components, based on a comprehensive study of 250 graduate students from five leading Kazakhstani universities and 140 educational experts. Findings indicate high levels of motivational and emotional readiness among students, alongside strong communicative and intellectual competencies, though experts note a gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The study underscores the importance of developing project skills through targeted training to better prepare educational psychologists for complex professional tasks, recommending curriculum enhancements that foster both practical abilities and intrinsic motivation.
