Abstract

The article focuses on eosinophilic dermatosis of haematological malignancy (EDHM), a rare skin condition associated with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL), characterized by tissue eosinophilia and often resembling insect bites. It details the case of a 71-year-old woman with CLL who experienced persistent, pruritic skin lesions that flared up during summer and after COVID-19 vaccinations. Despite multiple biopsies and a multidisciplinary approach, the condition proved challenging to diagnose and manage, with limited treatment options yielding poor results. The article emphasizes the need for further research into EDHM's pathogenesis and treatment, advocating for close monitoring of patients with underlying haematological malignancies.
