Abstract
The aim of the study was to explore a clinical case of transgenerational trauma involving systemic entanglements and inherited emotional pain. This paper aims to explore a clinical case of transgenerational trauma through a systemic lens and investigate how integrative therapeutic interventions such as Family Constellation and Inner Child Therapy facilitate healing. A qualitative case study approach was adopted to examine a 21-year-old female client presenting with chronic headaches, gastrointestinal discomfort, and persistent emotional themes of exclusion and neglect. Through detailed family history assessment and therapeutic engagement, systemic patterns and ancestral trauma were identified. The client underwent a combination of Family Constellation work and Inner Child Therapy to uncover hidden loyalties, unresolved grief, and inherited emotional burdens. The therapeutic focus was on systemic release, emotional reintegration, and creating healthy psychological boundaries with past generational influences. The client reported significant emotional clarity, a reduction in somatic symptoms, and increased psychological resilience. Physical complaints such as headaches and acidity notably improved within two months of intervention. Transgenerational trauma often manifests through somatic and emotional channels, especially in individuals with unconscious identification with ancestral suffering. Systemic therapeutic approaches can uncover these hidden patterns and initiate deep healing, both emotionally and physically. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
