Abstract
The article titled "Strengthening the Medical Examiner-Coroner System Program (DOJ)" announces the opportunity for organizations to apply for the FY24 Strengthening the Medical Examiner-Coroner System Program. The program aims to improve the medical examiner/coroner (ME/C) system by increasing the number of qualified forensic pathologists and enhancing the quality of medicolegal death investigations across the country. The deadline for applications is April 10, 2024, and up to 13 awards of up to $300,000 are expected to be granted. Eligible applicants include colleges and universities, for-profit organizations, nonprofit organizations, and various levels of government.
