Abstract
The article focuses on the traditional uses and preparation of raspberry (Rubus idaeus) and blackberry (Rubus spp.) leaves for herbal teas and topical remedies. Raspberry leaf tea is described as a nutritive tonic rich in vitamins and minerals, used to alleviate nausea, menstrual cramps, and soothe irritated eyes. Blackberry leaf tea, higher in tannins, serves primarily as a topical astringent for skin issues, sore throats, and inflamed gums. The article also provides guidance on harvesting and drying the leaves and includes a recipe for a cooling summer sun tea combining these leaves with other garden herbs and fruits.
