Abstract
An interview with Richard Lamb, director of the University of Georgia's Neurocognition Science Laboratory, is presented, about the use of extended reality (XR) exposure therapy to treat agoraphobia and acrophobia. Topics discussed include his motivation for pursuing the study, effectiveness of XR-based exposure therapy for treating phobic disorders and further research recommendations.
