Abstract
The article focuses on a study examining the effectiveness of a compassion-based intervention on parental burnout and the parent-child relationship among mothers of children with separation anxiety disorder in Qaimshahr, Iran. Conducted by researchers from the University of Guilan, the quasi-experimental study involved 30 mothers divided into experimental and control groups, with the experimental group receiving eight sessions of compassion training. Results indicated significant improvements in the parent-child relationship and reductions in parental burnout following the intervention. The findings suggest that compassion training can positively impact mental health and family dynamics for mothers dealing with separation anxiety in their children. [Extracted from the article]
