Abstract

The article focuses on a study conducted in Eskisehir, Turkey, which examines the validity and reliability of the Turkish version of the 18-item Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory - Short Form (ZTPI-Short) and its relationship with mindfulness and psychological symptoms. The research involved a descriptive, cross-sectional online survey with 367 participants, primarily young adults, and utilized various statistical analyses to evaluate the inventory's factor structure. Findings indicated that mindfulness significantly mediated the relationships between negative time perspectives and symptoms of depression and anxiety.
