Abstract

The overturning of Roe v. Wade plunged US physicians into a maze of state-specific abortion laws, creating a climate of legal uncertainty and fear. This study explores the legal risks, effects on clinical practice, and consequences for provider well-being. It also reviews steps taken to protect clinicians from an uncertain future.
