Abstract
A recent study conducted at the University of Debrecen in Hungary explored the use of music therapy in unveiling hidden musical potential in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The study focused on a 17-year-old male with moderate abilities who showed remarkable musical aptitude after engaging in music therapy sessions. The research suggests that occupational therapy and prolonged musical training can have positive impacts on motor functioning, sensory perception, and behavioral modifications in children with ASD. This study sheds light on the potential benefits of music therapy as a tool for development in individuals with autism. [Extracted from the article]
