Abstract
A recent study published in the Mental Health Weekly Digest discusses how individuals with autism show specific alterations in white matter microstructure in the corpus callosum, which connects the brain hemispheres. The study used a novel method called BUndle ANalytics (BUAN) and an advanced microstructure model to detect these differences more sensitively than traditional methods. This research highlights the importance of precise white matter analysis in understanding neural differences in autism. [Extracted from the article]
