While the study shows a significant reduction in amygdala reactivity overall, closer examination reveals that outliers experienced the most benefit, with some participants showing increased fear levels. Concerns are raised about the potential risks and efficacy of the intervention, suggesting the need for further research to optimize therapeutic benefits and minimize harms.
