Abstract
This case report focuses on identifying multiple sources contributing to elevated mercury levels in two dental workers, including occupational exposure from amalgam-related procedures and non-occupational exposure from unregistered facial creams and frequent seafood consumption. Detailed exposure timelines showed that mercury levels normalized after the workers ceased seafood intake for a week and fully returned to normal within two months after stopping both amalgam work and use of the contaminated skincare products. Testing confirmed high mercury content in the facial creams, highlighting the need to eliminate all potential exposure sources. The report emphasizes the importance of stronger regulation of mercury-containing products and aims to inform future research and public health policies.
