Abstract
A recent study conducted by researchers at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in Iran examined the effects of the Benson relaxation technique on sleep quality and aggression among patients with bipolar type I disorder. The study involved 60 participants and utilized a randomized clinical trial design. The intervention group received the Benson relaxation technique for 21 days, twice a day, under the supervision of an expert psychiatric nurse. The results showed a significant difference in aggression and sleep quality between the intervention group and the control group. However, the researchers suggest that further studies are needed before incorporating this intervention into the care plan for patients with bipolar type I disorder. [Extracted from the article]
