The article predicts combat sports to be a more niche area of student participation, and a good fit for students with intermittent explosive disorder (IED). Topics discussed include key benefits of combat sports, implications for school social work practice, and importance for students with IED to work with qualified healthcare professionals and experienced combat sports trainers.
