Abstract

The article discusses the follow-up imaging of a patient with synovitis, acne, pustulosis, hyperostosis, osteitis (SAPHO) syndrome treated with denosumab. Topics discussed include hyperostosis of the sternocostoclavicular joints, a reduction in tracer uptake revealed by bone scintigraphy following treatment with denosumab, and the use of denosumab as an alternative treatment to patients with contraindications to biphosphonate.
