Abstract
This study compared the effects of percussion massage therapy (PMT), kinesiology taping (KT), and dynamic stretching (DS) on shoulder proprioception, muscle strength, and functionality in healthy young adults. Results showed that PMT and KT were more effective than DS in improving shoulder proprioception, while PMT and DS both enhanced shoulder functionality more than KT. Dynamic stretching was the only intervention to significantly increase muscle strength. These findings suggest that PMT and KT may be preferable for proprioceptive improvements, DS for muscle strength gains, and both PMT and DS for functional enhancement, though further research is needed to confirm long-term effects and optimize treatment parameters.
