Abstract
A recent study conducted by Universidade Federal de Sao Paulo (UNIFESP) in Brazil focused on the adverse clinical effects associated with the use of synthetic cannabinoids. The research highlighted severe outcomes such as psychosis, dependence, seizures, and cardiovascular complications linked to synthetic cannabinoids, which are significantly more potent than natural cannabis. The study emphasized the urgent need for targeted public health policies to address the risks associated with synthetic cannabinoid use and improve medical management. Further controlled studies are recommended to understand the underlying mechanisms of these clinical effects and their pharmacological basis. [Extracted from the article]
