Abstract

This article focuses on the potential application of the PreDem platform, a software tool combining cognitive tests and artificial intelligence, to support early detection and prevention of dementia in Hungary. The study analyzed 61,902 test data from 259 participants who completed various cognitive tasks, grouping them into presumed dementia patients, diagnosed multiple sclerosis patients, and a presumably normal population. Results demonstrated significant differences between these groups and highlighted improvements in individuals with memory disorders through regular cognitive game performance. The PreDem platform showed approximately 90% accuracy in identifying early signs of dementia, suggesting its usefulness for early diagnosis, treatment, and enhancing quality of life.
