Abstract

The article focuses on caring for the relatives of the bereaved. Topics discussed include suggestions for the bereaved in order to adjust and cope, the emergence of different theories and models to guide on grief therapy to support the bereaved, and the privileged positions of healthcare professionals and community nurses in dealing with people as they approach death.
