Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 74-year-old Caucasian female with eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) in remission and with respiratory failure. Examinations revealed granulomatous inflammation with necrosis and EBV-positive lymphoproliferative disorder (LPD), and the favoured diagnosis of EBV-positive diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Also noted are rheumatologists' possible consideration of such LPDs as potential mimickers of unresponsive vasculitides.
