Abstract
The article discusses a study conducted in Hebei, People's Republic of China, focusing on the effectiveness of a holistic nursing intervention for adolescents with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). The randomized controlled trial involved 192 adolescents, who were divided into a research group receiving an integrated intervention based on resilience theory and the Satir model, and a control group receiving standard care. Results indicated that the research group experienced significantly greater reductions in depressive symptoms and improvements in resilience, self-esteem, and coping styles compared to the control group.
