Abstract

Catherine of Aragon was born on 16 December 1485, and was the last child of Isabella of Castile and Ferdinand of Aragon. In the early years of the marriage, Catherine was the principal adviser to the king; however, her inability to give the king an heir alienated Henry from her. In the third chapter, Earenfight examines Catherine's arrival in England, starting with Plymouth and ending with her solemn entry into London. [Extracted from the article]
