Abstract

The article discusses the release of two albums titled "Lights on a Satellite" by Sun Ra, one a live recording from 1978 and the other a newly recorded album by the current Arkestra. The live album was co-produced by Zev Feldman and Michael D. Anderson, while the new album was engineered by James Farber. Despite the challenges of recording a large ensemble, both albums showcase the eclectic mix of traditional and experimental music associated with Sun Ra and the Arkestra.
