Abstract
The article discusses the release of two albums titled "Lights on a Satellite" by Sun Ra, one a live recording from 1978 and the other a newly recorded album by the current Arkestra. The live album was co-produced by Zev Feldman and Michael D. Anderson, while the new album was engineered by James Farber. Despite the challenges of recording a large ensemble, both albums showcase the eclectic mix of traditional and experimental music associated with Sun Ra and the Arkestra. The current Arkestra, led by Marshall Allen, continues to honor the spirit of the original band while exploring new musical territories. [Extracted from the article]
