Abstract
This article focuses on a comparative analysis of the educational philosophies of Abraham Maslow and Carl Rogers, two prominent figures in humanistic psychology, as presented in recent research from Adelphi, Maryland. Maslow emphasized interdisciplinary teaching with core goals centered on student creativity and experience, adopting a hybrid approach that combined student-directed learning with authoritative expertise. In contrast, Rogers advocated a consistent student-centered learning model across all educational levels, viewing teachers as facilitators who build empathetic, trust-based relationships with students. The research highlights these differing perspectives on teaching and higher education, contributing to the discourse on humanistic approaches in education.
