Abstract
This article highlights the role of Black women in the labor movement, showcasing their leadership and activism in various strikes across different industries. It discusses the recent Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike, the largest healthcare strike in U.S. history, and the Portland Association of Teachers (PAT) strike. The article emphasizes the historical significance of Black labor organizing and the ongoing challenges faced by Black women in terms of racial and gender pay gaps and job inequities.
