Abstract
The article focuses on *The Stars We Do Not See: Australian Indigenous Art*, the largest international exhibition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art, which will tour North America from 2025 to 2028. Organized by the National Gallery of Victoria and co-curated with the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, the exhibition features over 200 works by 130 artists representing more than 250 Indigenous nations, spanning 65,000 years of cultural history and contemporary innovation. It highlights diverse media and themes including ecological knowledge, cosmology, social justice, and Indigenous resilience, while fostering cross-cultural dialogue between Australian First Peoples and Native American communities. The exhibition also serves as a pedagogical resource for educators, promoting inquiry-based learning and respectful engagement with Indigenous knowledge and art practices.
