Abstract
The article focuses on NASA's upcoming Artemis II mission, which is set to be the first crewed lunar mission since 1972. Scheduled for launch on February 6, 2026, Artemis II will carry a diverse crew, including the first woman, Christina Koch, and the first person of color, Victor Glover, to travel to the moon. The mission aims to test the Space Launch System (SLS) and the Orion spacecraft, marking a significant step toward establishing a sustained human presence on the moon. Artemis II will also serve as a precursor to future missions, including Artemis III, which aims to land astronauts on the lunar surface. [Extracted from the article]
