Abstract

After living in France for decades, Carol finally visits Brittany, exploring the historic town of Vitré with its medieval castle, narrow cobbled lanes, and picturesque houses. She discovers a whitewashed building for sale, envisioning it as a cultural center or pied-à-terre. Carol enjoys fresh oysters and white wine, and admires the Château de Vitré, a fairytale castle dominating the countryside.
