Abstract
This article is a response to the author's previous essay on Australia's housing crisis. The author acknowledges the feedback received, including criticism from experts at the Grattan Institute and Peter Tulip. The Grattan Institute argues for densifying suburbs and building more medium-density housing, while Peter Tulip disputes the impact of tax concessions on housing prices. The author admits to missing the growing support for denser cities but remains skeptical about the ability of Australian politics to deliver solutions. The author appreciates the insights provided by various respondents and emphasizes the need for policymakers to take action on the housing issue. [Extracted from the article]
