Abstract

Prof. Susan Rivera, from the University of Maryland, has passed the role of Editor-in-Chief of Human Development to Prof. David C. Witherington, from the University of New Mexico. Prof. Rivera has worked to strengthen the relationship between the journal and the Jean Piaget Society, maintain an engaged Editorial Board, and position the journal as a leader in its field. She has also focused on ensuring a smooth experience for authors and providing representative scientific content for readers. Prof. Witherington, as the new Editor-in-Chief, will continue to collaborate with the society and bring his expertise in the metatheoretical foundations of developmental science to the journal.
