Abstract
Easily missed, easily treatable: A case of non-weight bearing, an MRI and scurvy Scurvy is an uncommon but preventable illness which can manifest as musculoskeletal complaints in children. Most children with scurvy do extremely well on treatment - with musculoskeletal symptoms generally resolving within a few months.[[3], [9]] Scurvy is a preventable and treatable condition.
