Abstract
The article focuses on a case study of a 15-year-old male diagnosed with a granular cell tumor (GCT), an uncommon neoplasm derived from Schwann cells. The patient presented with a firm, asymptomatic nodule on his thigh that had been growing since childhood. Histopathological evaluation confirmed the diagnosis, revealing characteristic features of GCTs, including large cells with abundant pink cytoplasm and granules. The article discusses the rarity of GCTs in children, their typical presentation, differential diagnoses, and treatment options, emphasizing the importance of complete excision and follow-up for both benign and malignant cases.
