The article focuses on three historical works related to the American West. The first discusses how Georgetown, Colorado, avoided decline by becoming a historic district, preserving its mining heritage and promoting tourism through visionary local leadership. The second examines Wyatt Earp’s role in combating the outlaw "Cowboy" gang along the U.S.-Mexico border in the late 19th century, portraying Earp as a complex figure and detailing the gang’s criminal activities and eventual dispersal. The third explores the visual and commercial promotion of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show, highlighting its significance in the history of lithographic arts and advertising through detailed research on artists, printing companies, and promotional strategies.
