Abstract
The article explores the integration experiences of the Bridge Generation, born to Filipino immigrant parents in the 1920s and 1930s, and compares them to the Manong/Manang Generation. Topics include the distinct integration experiences of the Bridge Generation in the context of American racial hostility, educational attainment and economic outcomes, and the challenges faced by Bridge Generation Filipino women in achieving economic parity and higher education.
