Abstract

An interview with French-American filmmaker and actor Marcel Ophuls, is presented. Topics discussed include his documentary film "The Sorrow and the Pity," which is about French Occupation in World War II, how his family manage during the early period of the German Occupation, and the reason he decided to settle in the Béarn region of the Pyrenees.
