Abstract

This volume presents selected research articles from the 2021 conference "Celebrating 90 Years of Gödel's Incompleteness Theorems," organized by the Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker Center at the University of Tübingen with support from the ERC-funded Gödel Enigma project and the Kurt Gödel Society. The conference covered diverse topics related to Gödel's incompleteness theorems, including proof theory, type theory, computability, philosophy of mathematics, and Gödel’s unpublished work. Contributions in this issue focus on ongoing systematic research such as effective inseparability, formalizations in Martin–Löf type theory, reflection principles in set theory, provability logics, and metamathematical properties of arithmetical theories. The volume also honors the late Thomas Strahm, a notable logician known for his work in explicit mathematics and proof theory.
