Abstract

Henry Kissinger, one of the twentieth century's most consequential US state officials, has come up with a socially relevant, morally prescriptive and historically riveting account of six world leaders and their strategies. Nonetheless, Kissinger's tools might prove useful for today's leaders to navigate the Washington-Beijing rivalry, a post-Ukraine invasion Europe and the West's deeply polarized domestic societies. Similarly, Kissinger emphasizes the forecasts of Lee Kuan Yew, the first prime minister of Singapore, who predicted that China would rise as a world power and that China-US rivalry would dominate the twenty-first century.
