Abstract
The article discusses a history of Great Britain, particularly the royal issues and scandals that led to the calls for the abolition of the monarchy in the 1870s. Also cited are the rising discontent among Britons with the royal family that accelerated by the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the coronation of King Charles III, and other monarchy issues like personal wealth and impersonal royal influence and power.
