Abstract

The article features poets William Morris and Dante Rossetti. Topics mentioned include the comparison of poetry of Rossetti to the arts of music and painting, Rossetti's use of a concept of unstructured space and temporal ambiguity, the relation between Rossetti's poetry, translations and other art forms, and Morris' use of poetic properties such as musical rhythms, breaks, and shifting word lengths.
