Abstract
The article discusses the history and origins of a cup that has been mistakenly associated with Queen Anne Boleyn and her daughter, Queen Elizabeth I. The cup, which bears the badge of Anne Boleyn, was actually given as a New Year's gift to Queen Elizabeth by John Asteley, the Master of the Jewel House. The cup was later given to Richard Master, the queen's physician, as a christening gift for his son. The cup has been mistakenly referred to as the "Boleyn Cup" due to a misinterpretation of its history. [Extracted from the article]
