Abstract
The article celebrates the Windrush Day in the United Kingdom (UK) and the achievements of the Windrush generation. Credit is given to the Windrush generation for their contributions to the British culture and daily life. It points out the discrimination, harassment, bullying and racism facing African American nurses and minority ethnic staff. The author recognizes the difference of the Windrush generation for their support to the National Health Service (NHS).
